More than a leadership development program, Out as Humans is a movement to redefine leadership by focusing on vulnerability, authenticity, and human connection. In a world fixated on success and perfection, we offer a different path—one where leaders thrive by being true to themselves, and where masks fade away.

Let’s take Jack, for example. Jack is a 40-year-old CEO, the kind of leader who seems to have it all together. But during an important meeting, he pauses, takes a deep breath, and admits, “I’m struggling.” The room goes silent—not because people don’t believe him, but because they’ve all been there. Hi, I’m Gerardo. For a long time, I thought leadership meant having everything under control, always being perfect. On the outside, I had a successful career and a loving family, but inside, the pressure was overwhelming. I kept pushing myself until I hit a breaking point and had to confront my battle with OCD. That’s when I learned a hard truth: leadership isn’t about perfection. It’s about being human, about being real.
That realization led me to create Out as Humans. This program is for leaders who are tired of pretending, who want to lead with authenticity. We believe the best leaders aren’t the ones who look flawless—they’re the ones who have the courage to show up as they are, strengths, struggles, and all.
Through Out as Humans, we offer a space where leaders can connect, share their stories, and grow. With meaningful conversations, hands-on activities, and personal reflection, you’ll rediscover your passion and purpose—not by hiding your challenges, but by embracing them.

GERARDO SEGAT

Gerardo is the creator of Preludes, a coaching programme to humanize leaders and organizations, Vebate, a format of decision-making debate, Leader in the Mirror, a format of interview, and Leaderness, a post-graduate training programme.
Since 2013, he is a member of YPO Young Presidents’ Organization, the world’s largest community of leaders and CEOs, of which he has been the founder and chair of three chapters in Italy, Switzerland and globally.
He graduated from Milan’s Bocconi University, has a majeure from HEC Paris, a LLM from the LSE in London and an ACTP from the International Coaching Federation.
RENATA CIARAVINO
Co-Author-Director
A graduate in Dramaturgy and Writing from the Paolo Grassi School of Dramatic Arts, she continued her studies at the international dramaturgy laboratory at the Théâtre du Rond-Point in Paris and Le Centre des Arts Scéniques in Brussels.
She writes for the theatre and film, music and opera collaborating with, among others: Serena Sinigaglia, Gianna Nannini, Elisabetta Pozzi, Arianna Scommegna, Franco Però, Laura Curino, Veronica Cruciani and Francesco Micheli.
She teaches advanced dramaturgy. Her activity has always combined both writing and acting.
LaQuita Cleare
U.S. Ambassador for Out as Humans
LaQuita is not only a global storytelling and communication expert and the founder of Clear Communication Academy, but she also proudly serves as the U.S. Ambassador for Out as Humans.
With a storied career that began in Hollywood as an award-winning actor, writer, and producer, LaQuita has mastered the art of storytelling, turning her on-screen experiences into transformative communication strategies for leaders and organizations around the globe. Her impact is global, enhancing communication skills in over 50 countries and inspiring change through her engaging workshops and keynote speeches.
Through her proprietary framework, The Engagement Code™, LaQuita empowers executives, public figures, and global brands to foster genuine engagement and build meaningful relationships.
